Well, this is actually the first piece I've submitted that I'm actually proud of. I told myself I wouldn't get too fancy because that always seems to mess me up. I kept the background and shading simple, so I didn't overwhelm myself like I always frickin' do.
Well, this is my character Lorraine Elizabeth Spooner. She's the main character of my story, Stand. She's also my alias. I become her when I don't want people to know my real name.
Oh jeez. Please give me constructive criticism, I KNOW I need it BADLY. And I have absolutely no idea how to do LineArt correctly with Photoshop Elements 3.0, so if anyone knows, please give me some pointers. I just use my tablet, which isn't too hard, but it definetly could be easier.
As for the coloring of her outfit, it's based off of my favorite drinks, Mello Yello, Mountain Dew, and Sprite >_<;
I lineart with zigliners and sakura microns, the I scan them onto the computer and cg the rest. I'm a big fat cheater.
Only sometimes do I lineart using the wacom tablet. SOMETIMES. I;m never happy with the lines I get because the tablet is so sensitive, which can be a good and a bad thing. -__-;
I just looked up the game online, and I've honestly never even heard of it before! It looks interesting. I'm not much of a gamer, more reader/writer/drawer.
But this character is from a story I'm writing called, you guessed it, Stand. She doesn't actually ever wear this outfit, it was just something I concocted for fun, and the color scheme was... well, random at most. She does have gold eyes and red hair in the story, though, that much doesn't change. LAWL! That's funny.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
